Used to directly couple with the fermented peptide intermediates for the synthesis of semaglutide, this product introduces crucial segments, including the 18-carbon fatty acid side chain, AEEA-AEEA, and glutamic acid, to confer a long-acting effect. It can effectively avoid racemization and degradations, increase yield, and improve product purity. This is achieved by removing the tert-butyl group before coupling, thus eliminating the need to remove this protection group via TFA.
